In July 2024, the Samuel Lawrence Foundation hosted a high-profile symposium at UC San Diego to explore the growing threats and emerging solutions surrounding radioactive waste. I led the development of the event’s visual identity—from the digital invitations and posters to the screen graphics and event collateral.
Designed to appeal to a cross-sector audience of scientists, students, policymakers, and concerned citizens, the visual approach emphasized clarity, urgency, and professionalism. The event was a success and received regional media coverage, with speakers ranging from leading academics to activists working on the front lines of nuclear policy.
The creative system was designed to be scalable and adaptable, enabling future symposiums—positioning SLF as a leader in environmental thought leadership and community-driven change.
